About Us

About Us

Excel Career College was established as a computer college in 1989. Since then, the curriculum has expanded dramatically, but our focus has remained the same – to provide relevant training that helps you enter the workforce quickly. College Founder and President Pauline Stevenson, along with Chief Executive Officer Bisman Arora, remain dedicated to changing lives by offering hands-on training with a career focus. The programs at Excel are designed with this vision in mind, ensuring that the skills students develop in class, serve as transitional tools that help them step into their new careers. Since early 2022, Excel Career College has undergone rapid expansion, bringing our respected approach to dynamic hands-on learning to students throughout BC, including new campuses in Surrey, Victoria, Kelowna, and Courtenay. Among the many awards Excel has received over the years, it was honored with the ‘Professional Business of the Year award’ in 2022 by the Vancouver Island Business Examiner Awards. Excel is PTIB-designated and recognized through the BC Student Assistance Program (Student Aid BC), and all diploma programs offered at Excel qualify for funding options.
